We're always happy (super stoked, in fact) to educate you in the store, but we're focusing on some of our more esoteric ingredients here on the blog so you can get an idea of what you're JRINKing and the wonderful effects it'll have on your body.
"Burdock root", found in our delightfully spicy and cleansing CLEAN ME UP III has been a staple ingredient in both Eastern and Western medicine for thousands of years. But what does it do exactly?
Well, as it turns out, many a good thing for your body:
The entire burdock plant is edible, and also very low in calories.
Compounds in burdock root contain anti-oxidants and help with disease prevention.
Burdock is known for helping to purify and detoxify your blood and relieve indigestion.
Improves skin, whether you suffer from occasional or frequent breakouts, or other skin problems like eczema and dryness.
Although we juice it up, it's often served in Japanese cuisine among others, and is cooked and eaten in stews, soups, and salads. JRINK it up here!
