GROUNDING YOURSELF: DAY 17 RECIPE

Two ingredients only?  You bet.  We're keeping it simple with the theme of "going back to your roots - ground yourself".  Full of beta carotene and vitamin C from the carrots coupled with the rich antioxidants from the beets, you'll be rooted in no time.

Ingredients:

2 beets (we always remove the leaves just for visual purposes but feel free to juice these bad boys up)

3 carrots (can opt for parsnip as well)

Directions:

Juice the carrots first and then beets (avoids dying everything red...we've learned the hard way).  Whisk to blend flavors and enjoy!

Serves 2 people or 32 oz.
