HOMEMADE EGG NOG: DAY 21 RECIPE
Wow, only 4 more days left to Christmas! We've rung in 21 DIY JRINK recipes already and hope you've enjoyed the series so far. Now that you're an expert juicer, we're making this one slightly more challenging - say hello to homemade egg nog.
Ingredients:
2 cups cashew milk (or almond milk)
1 cup coconut milk (thank you, Trader Joe's)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 dates, pitted (can add more if you prefer a sweeter taste)
1 teaspoon Himalayan Sea Salt
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
Cinnamon, to sprinkle on top
Cinnamon stick, for garnish
ice, as needed
4 oz. dark rum (optional)
Directions:
- Add all ingredients into a high powered blender and blend on high for 60 seconds until a rich, creamy milk is formed.
- Pour into a glass, sprinkle with cinnamon and garnish with cinnamon stick.
