2 allspice seeds
1/2 tsp cardamom seeds
1 sprig fresh rosemary
1 inch (2,5 cm) fresh ginger or more to taste

Juice the apples and carrots first then add to pot. Bring to a boil and let simmer for 1-2 minutes. Turn off the heat and let steep, covered for 5-10 minutes, then strain in a fine sieve with all seasonings added during the cooling period.
